The scent of eucalyptus, a lavender sunset, the surface of a stone; these are the stuff of inspiration. The layers and textures of nature and the environment combined with memories and the traces of time on objects, provide rich subject matter for me. The Japanese would describe it as wabi-sabi. The process of renewal and rebirth are explored in these mixed media collages which are reworked over years and transform in many guises.
